connection through emotions
Sense-Garden is a space, created in a residential care facility, to improve the quality of life of people with dementia. A Session in a Sense Garden is conducted under the supervision of a healthcare provider and / or family member. During this session, the caretaker is immersed in a cozy, safe space where the caretaker can use all the senses and where he/she is given the opportunity to enjoy in peace. The experiences in Sense-Garden teach us that caregivers get more information about their caretaker and that they can act more person-oriented in daily care.
